The clients for this project wanted to fill in the wall around the TV.  They were looking for a custom solution that blended in with the walls, but gave the area a little bit more character without drawing attention.

At the first meeting with the clients they explained the general idea for the area.  I provided my input on possible solutions and problems to avoid. I took measurements of the open area above the existing cupboards, and made a rough drawing of the new shelves for design approval. I provided design ideas about the shelves to make subtle angles on the front of all vertical and horizontal planes, in order to give each shelf some extra character, while hiding the structural components.

After the pricing offer for the project was accepted I drafted detailed drawings of the project for final approval, and began work. The shelves were completed within the agreed upon timeframe, and the clients were extremely pleased with the finished project.
